TotalBoat 2:1 Medium Hardener is the medium speed curing agent for low-viscosity TotalBoat 2:1 High Performance Epoxy Resin. Its non-blushing formula cures to a clear, glossy finish ideal for clear coating applications and hand layups that showcase wood’s natural beauty and carbon fiber’s cool texture. No amine blush means no messy washdowns between coats, and no worrying whether a smidgen of stubborn surface blush will cause an improper cure. Our 2:1 Medium Hardener is great for most common applications, and can cure overnight at room temperature. At 77°F, gel time is 10 minutes, tack-free time is 3 hours, and full cure is 3.5 days. Its low odor and low VOC content are great shop and indoor use, but please use proper personal safety equipment and be sure your work area has adequate ventilation.
