The color change technology, introduced in 2012, is retained but only on the lure's top. While it was a major talking point in the past, its real-world appeal to fish is minimal. The lure's body is now smoother, allowing for better hooksets by enabling the lure to slide through the fish's mouth more easily. The 2016 Bonita lures are well-priced, with costs ranging from $29 to $39, a significant reduction from the previous $55 price point. These lures offer excellent quality and materials at a competitive price.
